Three years ago, Edoardo Benigni brought back this Gixxer from Sicily to Milan, where it was originally sold in 1991, and asked New Design 05 workshop in Segrate to rebuild it in style. It took 6 months to bring the bike to the current awesome state. Nothing was left to chance: the racing fairing was modified, the colour scheme was redisigned and the colors of the iconic Pop Yoshimura appeared, the seat came from Race Seats, historic partner of several MotoGP teams, Motoway workshop in Assago dealt with the engine that has been entirely overhauled. A Dynojet kit stage 3 e and BMC open pods were added to improve the performance of the stock 143 bhp (@ 9500 rpm) powertrain wich now breaths through a new superlight carbon titan exhaust system by Yoshimura. The suspensions are also new: the forks are 1995 series with Ohlins interiors. Finally, new steel braided lines are now starting from a Gsx-R 1000 K6 brake pump. 

Tre anni fa, Edoardo Benigni ha riportato indietro questa Gixxer dalla Sicilia a Milano, dove fu originariamente venduta nel 1991, e si è rivolto alla New Design 05 di Segrate per una resto-mod di alta classe. Ci sono voluti 6 mesi per portare la moto al fantastico stato attuale. Nulla è stato lasciato al caso: la carenatura racing è stata modificata, la livrea è stata riptogettata e realizzata con i colori dell'iconico Pop Yoshimura, la sella è stata commissionata alla Race Seats, partner storico di diversi team MotoGP. L'officina Motoway di Assago si è occupata del motore che è stato completamente revisionato. Sono stati aggiunti un kit Dynojet Stage 3 e filtri conici BMC per migliorare le prestazioni del propulsore da 140 CV di serie (@ 9500 giri), che ora respira attraverso un nuovo sistema di scarico in titanio di carbonio Yoshimura. Anche le sospensioni sono nuove: la forcelle è stata sostituita con un modello del 1995 ma con interni Ohlins. Infine, nuovi tubi di acciaio intrecciati partono dalla pompa freno Gsx-R 1000 K6.
