Latinoamericana: a new cafe racer adventure #3

Puquio-Cuzco-Machu Picchu... 500km. Sasà is going further.

"Almost 500 km riding an almost entirely winding road - Salvatore reports - good asphalt, great fun. I could say; a tasty ride. The weather was good enough and the cold bearable. I can say without exaggeration that it was the most beautiful 500km I have ever ridden... With the only exception of the arrival at Cuzco, which welcomed me with a beautiful rain and a traffic nightmare (but not like in Lima). Imagine to ride your bike between Rome and Milan without interruptions, all on a winding road. I think I have traveled not even one single kilometer in a straight line. And finally: Macchu Picchu. A breathless making miracle." 

"Quasi 500 Km di strada per la maggiore parte di belle curve e buon asfalto, un vero godimento - Racconta Salvatore -. Oserei dire gustosa. Il tempo e' stato clemente ed il freddo sopportabile. Posso dire senza esagerare che sono stati i 500 km più belli che abbia mai percorso... Fa eccezione l'ingresso a Cuzco, che mi ha dato il benvenuto con una bella pioggia e un traffico infernale (ma mai come quello di Lima). Immaginate di percorrere Roma-Milano senza interruzioni e con tutte curve; non credo di aver percorso più di un chilometro in linea retta. E poi: Macchu Picchu. Una meraviglia da restare senza fiato".
