For those who don't know this model, please note, this is not a custom bike. Designed by the well known architect Philippe Starck and produced in 1995 and 1996 this is the kind of bike you love or you hate. Powered by a liquid cooled 650cc single cylinder engine with 43 BHP at 6,250 rpm, it was perhaps the very first crossover concept introduced on the market. When I first saw it at the Bologna Motor Show in 1994 I liked this motorcycle, even without knowing exactly what i could have done of it... And, as soon as I fell in love with her, I forgot her. But, it must be said, after more than 20 years, this bike doesn't look old nor outdated. There is an argument about the number of Motò produced: some say 4000 pieces, other 6000. However, it's now a collector item and if you have one of them in the garage, you better taking care of her.

Quelli che non conoscono questo modello sappiano che non si tratta di una special. Progettata dal noto architetto Philippe Starck e prodotta nel 1995 e nel 1996, questo è il tipo di moto che si ama o si odia. Spinta da un monocilindrico di 650cc capace di 43 Cv a 6.250 giri, è stata forse la prima vera crossover introdotta sul mercato. Quando la vidi per la prima volta al Motor Show di Bologna, nel 1994, mi piacque molto, anche senza sapere esattamente che cosa ne avrei potuto fare... E, nel breve tempo in cui mi ero innamorato di lei, l'avevo già dimenticata. Ma, va detto, dopo più di 20 anni, questa moto non sembra nè vecchia né obsoleta. Si discute sul numero di esemplari realmente prodotti: alcuni dicono 4000, altri 6000. E comunque, oggi è un oggetto da collezione e se ne avete una in garage, fareste meglio a averne cura.
