Bond in Motion exhibition @ The London Film Museum

The London Film Museum, founded and created by Jonathan Sands in February 2008, is a museum dedicated to the British film industry. Originally situated in County Hall, it moved to Covent Garden in April 2012. It exhibits original props, costumes and sets from feature films. Bond in Motion is the official exhibition of James Bond vehicles that feature in the renowned film series. It is the largest display of its kind ever staged in London and Inazuma Cafe visited it for its readers. James Bond first hit the big screen in 1962, when Ian Fleming’s 007 was introduced to cinema audiences around the world as the double o agent in Dr No. Half a century and six Bonds later, the franchise is now one of the longest running in cinema history. In the exhibition space we found several vehicles on display, including the archetypal Bond car, the Aston Martin DB5, Goldfinger’s majestic Rolls-Royce Phantom III and the unforgettable Lotus Esprit S1 submersible from The Spy Who Loved Me not to mention several other icons and memorabilia. 

Il London Film Museum, creato da Jonathan Sands nel 2008, è un museo dedicato all'industria cinematografica britannica. Originariamente situato in County Hall, si è trasferito a Covent Garden nel 2012. In esposizione ci sono oggetti di scena originali, costumi e set. Bond in Motion è la mostra ufficiale dei veicoli usati da James Bond in diversi film della popolare serie. E' la più grande mostra del genere che c'è mai stata a Londra, e Inazuma Cafè ci è andata. James Bond esordì sul grande schermo nel 1962, quando lo 007 di Jan Fleming è stato presentato al pubblico cinematografico di tutto il mondo come l'agente Double-O-seven con “Licenza di Uccidere”. Mezzo secolo e sei attori più tardi, la serie è oggi una delle più longeve nella storia del cinema. Nello spazio espositivo abbiamo trovato diversi veicoli in mostra, tra cui l'archetipo delle auto di Bond, l'Aston Martin DB5, la maestosa Rolls-Royce Phantom III di Goldfinger e l'indimenticabile Lotus Esprit S1 sommergibile di “La spia che mi amava” per non parlare di numerose altre icone e cimeli.
