1984 Suzuki GN 400 Brat Style by Ventus Garage

The GN400 could be described as a small, light bike, just perfect to ride in downtown. And that`s the way Ventus figured out this build. First, the engine was overhauled and repainted, polishing the cylinder cooling fins to get the effect of brushed aluminum. The Mikuni carburetor was tuned with a new K&N air filter, to improve performances a little bit. Ventus got rid of the original air box and shortened the frame by 20 cm, closing it the classic loop. The fuel tank was painted in two shades of black: matt and gloss. The Suzuki logo was blurred with acid, obtaining a golden color matching the rims(front wheel 18" tire Avon Mirage 2 4.00 and back Avon same 5.00 16"). The spokes have been renovated and chrome coated. The break hoses were replaced with stainless steel ones with a new master cylinder. The front light remained stock but a steel mesh was welded into the lamp, changing the look of the ordinary GN. The handlebar was shortened to make it easier to ride in the city traffic and, particularly, in the narrow streets of Cracow. It was provided with Beston grips and a mirror. The final drive was replaced with new sprockets and a DID gold chain. Nice little urban bastard.

Potremmo descrivere la GN400 come una moto piccola e leggero, perfetta per il centro. ed è esattamente come Ventus l'ha interpretata. Innanzitutto, il motore è stato revisionato e riverniciato, con le alette di raffreddamento lucidate per ottenere l'effetto dell'alluminio spazzolato. Il carburatore Mikuni è stato messo a punto con un nuovo filtro aria K&N, per migliorare un po' le prestazioni. Alla Ventus si sono sbarazzati della scatola filtro originale e accorciato il telaio di 20 cm, chiudendolo col classico anello. Il serbatoio è stato verniciato nero in due tonalità: lucido e stainato. Il logo Suzuki è stato trattato con l'acido, ottenendo un colore dorato che si abbina a quello dei cerchi(anteriore da 18" e posteriore da 16" che calzano pneumatici Avon Mirage 2). I raggi sono state rinnovati e cromati. I tubi freno sono stati sostituiti con nuovi in treccia d'acciaio e collegati a una nuova pompa freno. Il faro anteriore è rimasto di serie, ma vi è stata saldata una rete di acciaio, modificando lo "sguardo" ordinario della GN. Il manubrio è stato accorciato per renderlo più facile da maneggiare nel traffico cittadino e nei vicoli di Cracovia in particolare. E 'stato dotato di manopole Beston e di un nuovo specchietto retrovisore. La trasmissione finale è stato sostituita con una nuova corona e catena DID golden. Una gradevole bastardina urbana.
