The Bull Cafe Racer

Krystian Bednarek comes from Poland and is a webdeveloper and amateur builder. This is his very first  creation based on a 1992 Honda CB750 Seven Fifty. His brand is Bull Cafe Racer.

When Krystian started his project, he just knew he wanted a raw bike: as little plastic as possible, as close as possible to his personality and his own idea of bike. But he hadn't ever built a motorcycle before and his work was hence driven by pure passion and a little or no experience. He took the inspiration surfing thousands of web pages and images and only after purchasing the bike and started the project he realized how difficult was to design and build his own parts. In order to know how to rebuild the bike after having it stripped down to the bone, he recorded videos of any single stage of his dismantling work so he had the records of how to do the inverse process. The entire project took him more than 500 hours work and one year of time. Krystian cannot describe the joy and satisfaction of the moment when he turned on the bike again... Nothing as good as the first time.

Quando Krystian ha avviato il suo progetto, sapeva solo di volere una moto grezza: meno plastica possibile, più vicina possibile alla sua personalità e alla propria idea di moto. Ma non aveva mai costruito una moto prima e quindi il suo lavoro è stato guidato dalla pura passione e poca o nessuna esperienza. Ha preso ispirazione da migliaia di pagine web e di immagini, e solo dopo aver comprato la moto e avviato il progetto si è reso conto di quanto fosse difficile progettare e costruire le sue parti. Per sapere come ricostruire la moto dopo averla spogliata fino all'osso, ha registrato video di ogni singola fase dello smantellamento per avere i record di come svolgere il processo inverso. L'intero progetto ha comportato oltre 500 ore di lavoro e un anno di tempo. Krystian non sa descrivere la gioia e la soddisfazione del momento in cui ha di nuovo messo in moto la CB... Niente è come la prima volta!
