The Bonnie Who Came in from the Cold

With this awesome build based on a Triumph Scrambler (yes, "Scrambler" you got it right!) the Russian builder Gad 13 Garage won the 2013 IMIS contest at the St. Petersburg International Motorbike Show.

The front forks have been replaced with a parallelogram with central shock absorber. The choice matches a builder of very radical and aggressive streetfighters like Gad (which, in Russian, means reptile). Disc brakes were replaced by two wonderful drums, with the front one widely ventilated. The rear part of the frame has been completely rebuilt and lifted, the twin shocks replaced by a mono and there is a new custom made carbon swingarm strengthen by a truss. The exhausts are Supertrapp... A truly original Bonnie, from Russia with love... St. Petersburg, to be precise. The Bonnie who came in from the cold...

La forcella anteriore è stata sostituita con una a parallelogramma con ammortizzatore centrale. Una scelta consona a un costruttore di streetfighter estreme e dallo stile aggressivo come Gad (che in Russo significa rettile). I freni a disco sono stati sostituiti con due splendidi tamburi, con quello anteriore ampiamente ventilato. La parte posteriore del telaio è stata completamente ricostruita e sollevata, gli ammortizzatori sostituiti da un mono e c’è un nuovo forcellone artigianale in carbonio con capriata di rinforzo. Gli scarichi sono Supertrapp… Una Bonnie davvero originale, dalla Russia con amore…. San Pietroburgo, per la precisione. La Bonnie che veniva dal freddo...
