The 2 valve project

This Ducati 900SS (bored to 1000cc) is the prototype of the Project 2-valves that G-Garage in Guidonia (Rome) is ready to share with their enthusiast customers.

To build a 2-valves, Federico Gentili & Co. chose the Ducati SS produced from the 90's to the early 2000's: motorcycles widly available on the second hand market at affordable prices. The heart of the project is the Ducati engine: the beautiful air-cooled L-twin with its clean lines. The customer can choose the displacement from 600cc up to 1000cc and the relevant tweeking. The skeleton of the 2-valves is the custom CrMo steel frame developed by G-Garage, weigthing only 12 kg and with a 24,5° head angle. The electrics are reingeneered. Suspensions, wheels and brakes are chosen by the customer, but stock components can be used anyway. The bodywork is fiberglass made by Kompo-Tech. But in the future an aluminum body could be made available. Nice, personal and cost-effective. Inazuma approved!

Questa Ducati 900SS (ma di quasi 1000cc), a suo tempo presentata ancora in lavorazione dall’Inazuma Cafe, è il prototipo del Progetto 2 Valvole che alla G-Garage di Guidonia (RM) sono pronti a replicare per la propria clientela di appassionati. Per realizzare una 2valvole, Federico Gentili e soci hanno scelto le Ducati SS in produzione dagli anni 90 in poi, comprese le ultime serie degli anni 2000: moto prodotte in grandi numeri e dal costo abbordabile. Il motore Ducati è il cuore: bella meccanica raffreddata ad aria e linee pulite. Il cliente può scegliere la cilindrata da 600 cc a 1000cc con vari step di elaborazione. Lo scheletro è il telaio artigianale sviluppato da G Garage in acciaio al cromo-molibdeno, pesante solo 12 kg e con inclinazione cannotto di 24.5°. L’impianto elettrico viene ricostruito. Sospensioni, cerchi e freni sono a scelta del cliente, ma possono restare di serie. La carrozzeria realizzata da Kompo-Tech è in vetroresina. Ma in futuro potrebbe arrivare una carrozzeria in alluminio. Bella, personale e a costi ragionevoli. Inazuma approved!
