The art of Jose Emroca Flores

When I was a child, I had a fairy tales’ illustrated book. The images on the book were magic drawings of fairies, knights, dragons and unicorns… Well, the artworks by Jose Emroca Flores remind me that book, with the difference that the images talk about motorcycling and surfing… Things that currently I like more than fairy tales. Jose lives in North County San Diego, he is an artist/illustrator with a distinctive style that has spanned multiple outlets in films, games, books, animations, galleries, and advertising. Emroca's paintings about riding capture the more moody side of riding, but at the same time energetic, comical and playful. Emroca actively shares his oil paintings in galleries across USA. When he is not creating art, you can find him surfing throughout the year, travelling the globe, riding his motorbike around North County, and spending time with his family and friends. Quando ero bambino, avevo un libro di fiabe illustrato. Le immagini del libro erano magici disegni di fate, cavalieri, draghi e unicorni... Beh, le opere di Jose Emroca Flores mi ricordano quel libro, con la differenza che le immagini parlano di motociclismo e di surf... Cose che attualmente mi piacciono più delle fiabe. Jose vive nella provincia nord di San Diego, è un artista / illustratore con uno stile particolare che ha trovato sbocco in film, giochi, libri, animazioni, gallerie, e in pubblicità. I lavori motociclistici di Emroca catturano il lato più onirico della guida, ma allo stesso tempo ne esaltano l'energia, la comicità e l'ironia. Emroca condivide attivamente i suoi dipinti ad olio in varie gallerie d’arte in USA . Quando non crea, lo si può trovare a surfare tutto l' anno, in giro per il mondo, in sella alla sua moto in giro per la North County, o con la famiglia e gli amici.
