Transformer by LHC

A couple of month ago, Left Hand Cycles created the Acid King, a neat cafe/brat based on a 1978 XS650, with a rusty tank and industrial look. Looking for more fun, they re-customized it into a scrambler. They removed clip on’s and changed them with a wide enduro handlebar. Brake, throttle and clutch cables have been replaced with longer ones and the small "special" tank is now different. In this way, depending on on which style you prefer, using the "Acid King Kit" you can simply turn the bike back into a café racer. Engineers may argue that a road racer and a scrambler should be different in several more particulars other than the handlebar, but if you are looking for fun, the solution proposed is anything but wrong. 

Un paio di mesi fa, Left Hand Cycles ha creato la Acid King, una brat café dalla linea semplice, un serbatoio dall’aspetto invecchiato ed un look post-industriale, basata su una XS650 del 1978. Per rendere la moto ancor più divertente, l’hanno nuovamente trasformata in una scrambler. Hanno rimosso i semimanubri e li hanno sostituiti con un ampio manubrio enduro. Cavi freno, acceleratore e frizione sono stati sostituiti con quelli più lunghi e il piccolo serbatoio è diverso. In questo modo, a seconda di quale sia lo stile preferito, utilizzando il "Kit Acid King" si può semplicemente far tornare la moto cafe racer. Gli esperti sosterranno che una moto da strada e una scrambler dovrebbero essere diverse in ben altri particolari che il solo manubrio, ma se siete in cerca di divertimento, la soluzione proposta è tutt'altro che sbagliata.
