Skinny R100

This is the latest build by Skinny Cafe Racer that our friend Max Idini decided to show first on Inazuma Cafe. You cannot miss the details in the rest of this post.

This 1991 BMW R100 has been deeply changed in the rear frame in order to adopt a new battery and the luxury custom seat in natural leather by Hermes. The front fork has been strengthen and the tyres are Dunlop. The new tank is from a 1980 R100 and has been obviously modified. Both aluminium mudguards and side panels are handmade. Wheels and frame have been powder coated while the painting is by Cisko Art . Engine, clutch and carburettors have been rebuilt as well has the final transmission. The new custom airbox is aluminium made. The inox exhausts are custom made as well with Megathone mufflers. The electronics has been subject to a complete review and benefitted by new Acewell instruments, Bates front and tail lights, Dime City indicators. Great bike. Bravo Max!

Questa BMW R100 del 1991 è stata profondamente modificata nel telaio posteriore per potervi alloggiare una nuova batteria e il lussuoso sedile artigianale in pelle naturale firmata Hermes. La forcella anteriore è rafforzata e gli pneumatici sono Dunlop. Il nuovo serbatoio è di una R100 del 1980, ovviamente adattato al telaio. Entrambi i parafanghi e i pannelli laterali sono in alluminio fatti a mano. Ruote e telaio sono stati verniciati a polvere mentre la verniciatura della carozzeria è di Cisko Art. Motore, frizione e carburatori sono stati revisionati, come la trasmissione cardanica. Nuovo anche l’airbox artigianale in alluminio. Gli scarichi in acciaio sono stati realizzati artigianalmente e abbinati a terminali Megathone. L'elettronica è stata oggetto di una revisione completa e ha beneficiato di nuovi strumenti Acewell, faro e luci posteriori Bates, frecce di Dime City. Gran bel ferro. Bravo Max!
