XS400 by Skinny

The good old Max of Skinny Cafe Racer strikes again with this 1983 Yamaha XS400 (formerly) Unitrack. He is so talented that I couldn't help but posting his entire colletion for this year... Well... He can still work harder on the photography side... But this another story (more in the rest of the post).

Il vecchio buon Max di Skinny Cafe Racer di Varese colpisce ancore con questa Yamaha XS400 Unitrak (una volta lo era!) del 1983. E' così bravo che non ho potuto fare a meno di pubblicare tutta la sua collezione 2012... Oh beh... Penso che possa ancora miglirare nella fotografia... Ma questa è un'altra storia! Main changes. Rear frame and custom seat. Custom swingarm with mono-shock elimination and new double shock absorbers build. New spoke 18 "wheels (front & rear) and new pneus. New aluminium fenders. Beta tank adapted to the frame: laser cut logo TIg welded. Custom exhausts. Acewell instrument. 2003 Yamaha R1 brake pump. Conical filters. New electrical system.

Principali modifiche. Telaio post per alloggiamento sella artigianale e cablaggi. Forcellone con capriata alta, eliminazione mono ed inserimento doppi ammortizzatori. Sostituzione cerchi in lega con ruote a raggi da 18" ant e post e nuovi pneus. Parafanghi in alluminio. Serbatoio Beta adattato al nuovo telaio con saldatura TIG del logo tagliato al laser . Scarichi alti inox artigianali. Strumentazione Acewell. Manubrio cross. Pompa freno Yamaha R1 del 2003. Filtri conici. Nuovo impianto elettrico.
