Sembra che Inazuma cafè abbia guadagnato un buon numero di lettori nella lontana Australia (sicuramente tutto è iniziato quando Bike Exif  ha pubblicato un articolo sulla mia Inazuma, e grazie agli articoli del mio amico Rex di Garage Project Motorcycles a Perth) e ciò mi rende particolarmente orgoglioso. Inoltre, molti dei miei lettori Aussie portano un un nome italiano. E non c’è di che stupirsi, visto che quando andai in Australia, nel 1997, non riuscii a incontrare qualcuno che non potesse affermare di avere uno zio, un nonno o altro antenato italiano. Carlo Romanin di Halfway There Motorcycles è uno di questi. Con il socio Ben Dortimer, Carlo progetta e costruisce motociclette speciali a Melbourne. Come si legge sul sito, il loro progetto “riguarda il mantenersi giovani. Tentando di riscoprire I tempi in cui ogni giorno era entusiasmante e pieno di sorprese. La riscoperta dello spirito dell’avventura”… Tutte cose molto in linea con la filosofia dell’Inazuma cafè, e questo ci piace!

Apparently, Inazuma cafè reached a good number of readers in Australia (undoubtly, this began when Bike Exif published my bike last summer and thanks to the articles of the excellent Garage Project Motorcycles run by my friend Rex in Perth) and this makes me very proud. In addition, many of my Aussy readers bring an Italian name. No wonder, when I went to Australia, in far 1997, I couldn’t meet anyone there who couldn’t say to have an uncle, grandpa, or similar ancestor from Italy. Carlo Romanin of Halfway There Motorcycles is one of these readers. With Ben Dortimer, Carlo designs and builds special motorcycles in Melbourne. As they say on their website, their project “is about holding on to your youth. Trying to rediscover those times when every day was exciting and full of wonder. It's about rediscovering the spirit of adventure”… All things pretty much in line with the Inazuma cafè philosophy, and I like it!

Come graphic designer, Carlo ama pianificare e disporre dei suoi progetti su carta, per poter poi sviluppare le special di HTW. Così ha raccolto un certo numero di disegni di telai di moto classiche da utilizzarsi per le le elaborazioni. As a graphic designer, Carlo likes to have things sketched up and planned out for each of HTW builds, so he put together some different bike frame line artwork designs that they use themselves in planning new bikes.
