Valkyrie

"Valchiria" by Walter Castrogiovanni, 

computer aid designed from scratch and powered by a Ducati 600cc engine.

This bike has been designed from scratch by a 22 y.o. student of industrial design at the University of Palermo in Sicily and was the subject of his degree thesis. The bike frame, the Girder forks, the brake calipers supports, the footpegs and the entire bodywork have been CAD designed by Walter. Forks and frame were thought to be easily matched with different engines and bodyworks. The exhausts were supplied by Silmotor International. Brakes and wheels are from a Ducati Monster 695, while the engine and the controls are from a Monster 600cc. Thanks to his project Walter was graduated with honour.

Questa moto è stata progettata da zero da un ventiduenne studente di design industriale presso l'Università di Palermo,  ed è stata oggetto della sua tesi di laurea. Il telaio, la forcella Girder, i supporti pinze freno, le pedane e l'intera carrozzeria sono stati progettati CAD da Walter. Telaio e forcella sono stati pensati per poter essere facilmente accoppiati a diversi motori e carrozzerie. Lo scarico è stato fornito dalla Silmotor Internazional di Torino. I freni e le ruote sono di origine Ducati Monster 695, mentre il motore e i comandi sono Monster 600cc. Grazie al suo progetto Walter ha conseguito la sua laurea triennale con lode.
